Tour Plan
- Meeting point Fierza: the location where the ferry drops you off around 1 PM. This is where you will meet the guide, who will pick you up to start the journey.
- This trip is rated "vigorous 3.5 out of 5" and is recommended for travelers with some experience in biking, camping, and hiking. Participants will need to carry their own backpacks during the hike, and basic biking skills are required. With three thrilling outdoor activities, this tour promises a full nature adventure like no other.
Our day starts where the ferry drops you off. You will meet the guide, who will take you to the guesthouse for lunch. Following lunch, we will embark on a half-day hike for a warming up to a beautiful cave featuring stalactites and stalagmites. We will stay in a cozy guesthouse and be welcomed by friendly local people, where we can discuss the next day's plans and itenerary. Lunch and dinner are included
Fierza → Valbona valley
Our trip begins today with biking through villages towards Valbona valley. After introductions, we load out luggage into a car and head out to our tree camping where the team have set up your tents and prepped a home away from home for the day of adventure. Once at end biking point we pick the bikes up at the car and we hike until the camp. We wind our way through limestone mountains into the Albanian Alps national park. Today's ride is curated so to see many villages in North Albania, the tour adjusted to biking, and smile ear to ear as you wind through remote villages. At our tree campsites, our team prepare dinner while we freshen up and enjoy a nice outdoor dinner. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.Valbona → Theth
Length of the hike: 14 km Uphill Walking: 800 m Downhill walking: 1000 m
Today's journey takes us most beautiful valleys in Balkan, the heart of Albania Alps. Along our route we'll stop and see the highlanders houses. While we climb hundred meters into the Valbona pass, the altitude offers a great landscape and a spectacular panoramas of mountain the range and learn more about those mountains. The highest point is 1,800 meters above sea level. From this point, we will walk downhill through the beech forests until we reach the guesthouse. where a wonderful dinner awaits us. Our final day in the magical Theth valley trail leads us up a trail that is a local favorite. After breakfast at our lodge, we walk a short distance to the Grunas waterfall.
