Ready for the ultimate challenge? Join our thrilling Triple Peaks Adventure! This guided tour takes you to the highest summits in the region. You will experience the breathtaking beauty of the Accursed Mountains as you hike and climb its most iconic peaks.

This specialized journey pushes you above 2,500 meters. In fact, it includes summiting the tallest mountains in Albania, Montenegro, and Kosovo! The trails offer dramatic views, stunning sunsets, and unforgettable sunrises. While we follow sections of the famous Peaks of the Balkans Trail, we also explore hidden, technical routes. Therefore, this trip truly showcases the untouched beauty of the region.

Each day brings a mix of challenges and rewards. You will conquer rugged terrain and summit spectacular peaks (weather permitting). We’ll set up wild camp in remote areas and fully immerse ourselves in the wild landscapes of the Balkans. This journey is the perfect blend of high-altitude adventure and natural wonder. Furthermore, we can adjust the trip to climb additional peaks in the Accursed Mountains, based on the weather forecast and group needs. This is the definitive Albanian Alps Climbing experience.

  • Meeting Point: in Valbona valley. You will meet the local guide and the team, who start our adventure trip
  • This trip is rated "vigorous" (5 out of 5) and is recommended for fit travelers with mountaineering experience. Participants will need to carry their own backpacks weighing between 13–16 kg over a distance of up to 20 km in a day, with significant elevation gains and losses of up to 1500 meters.
Valbona valley

Your trip begins when you arrive in Valbona valley. After you meet the guide,a brief orientation for the day and a short hike for warming up.We arrive at camp and the team will share gear and information for the coming days. This will include climbing techniques and if route conditions require them the basics of climbing gear. After our technique and safety training we enjoy an early dinner and retire to our cozy campfire.

Mount jezerca / Highest peak in Accursed Mountains
Length  of the  climbing trail 20 km / Uphill 1700 meters / Downhill / 1700 meters

Today we climb to around 1700 meters above the seal level. Expect to climb for 7 or more hours today one way. We start early in the morning for the Jezerca peak '' The Queen of Accursed Mountains'' from 1000 meters to climb up to 2694 meters if the weather condition allows us. This peak ask a lot for good physical conditions. Early season departures are most likely to experience a typical snow and ice mountaineering environment. During years of low snowpack, mid to late season routes may be a combination of snow and rocks. On the top there is one of the most amaizing view in Balkan. We are going to be back and have e good night in a cozy  wood cabine.

Kollata peak / Highest peak in Montenegro
Length  of the  climbing trail 16 km / Uphill 1500 meters / Downhill / 1500 meters

Today we wake and enjoy breakfast prepared from the hut, before packing up and heading out to summiting the Kollata peak 2536 meters above the seal level. We'll distribute group gear and food, review techniques for correctly packing a backpack, and discuss our route.
Depending on our route, we may start walking to our trailhead from the presllopi pass, giving us the chance to view the valley from different perspectives. after we reach the summit we go downhill into the hut where we started. At dusk, look forward to camaraderie around the campfire as we watch for shooting stars overhead. All meals provided.

Discovering Kosovo: A Visit to Europe’s Newest Country

Awaken to the gentle embrace of the mountains as we prepare to visit a new country Kosovo. Our day begins with a drive to Gjakova, a city known for its Ottoman architecture and old-town charm. We’ll visit the bazaar and enjoy a coffee in the town. After this, we continue our journey a monastery in Decan where we will begin our exploration of this part of the Kosovo.

Next, we journey to the mountains where we arrive at the hut and preparing to climb highest peak in Kosovo ''Gjeravica'' 2655 meter above the seal level.

Our mission today is to climb Gjeravica peak.. Walk along a beautiful mountain range through an old growth forest and climb to one of the most picturesque mountain vistas with expansive views of breathtaking rock formations.we will se many alpine lakes on the way and for them who want to do Ice bath that is the perfect location.
Our celebration of this spectacular region continues as we head back for a tasty meal at the hut in mountains. We'll spend our final evening together sharing stories and reflecting on our last few days of adventure. All meals included.

Farewell Mountains ! On our final day day in the mountains and the last shepherd hut, we depart from the mountainous terrain and journey back into civilization. Thanks for joining us on this remarkable journey. We genuinely hope you relished your time here, and we eagerly anticipate the opportunity to welcome you back to our country in the future.
