Breakfast, a lunch packet, and dinner are usually included in guesthouses, while lunch is often enjoyed outdoors.
Vegetarian options are available if you notify us in advance.
In some areas, you may find small local bars or villagers offering fresh products, but there are no supermarkets along the trails, so we recommend carrying some energy snacks with you.

• Full organization and itinerary planning
• Accommodation in local guesthouses or selected campsites
• Guidance by experienced mountain guides
• Permits for protected or border areas (when applicable)

Yes, we offer various types of mountain equipment available on our website. We also recommend contacting us directly so we can help you choose the right gear depending on the season and activity.

Our tours are organized in small groups. Each participant can walk at the group’s rhythm but can only move as far as the guide can still see them clearly.
Everything is coordinated in communication with the guide to ensure everyone’s safety.

How does Backcountry Albania contribute to nature conservation?

We believe mountain tourism should have a positive impact on both the environment and the local community. For this reason:
• We work directly with local families, supporting them economically.
• We promote the use of local and organic food.
• We apply the “Leave No Trace” principle to protect trails and forests.
• A portion of our profits goes toward environmental projectsin scouting in the Albanian Alps.
